PhoneSpeex is a voice-over-IP (VoIP) application optimized for the mobile experience that allows you to chat with other people using TeamSpeak 2 servers. TeamSpeak is popular with multiplayer gamers and scanner enthusiasts: PhoneSpeex allows them to keep in touch with their teams on-the-go.
Important: The developer agreement does not currently allow VoIP applications to use the cellular network (even low-bitrate ones like PhoneSpeex), hence **PhoneSpeex is currently limited to Wi-Fi usage only**.
Note also that you must be connected to a TeamSpeak 2 server to communicate using PhoneSpeex; you cannot connect to other users directly. For a list of TeamSpeak servers that are available you can refer to http://www.tsviewer.com, which contains a neatly categorized database of servers.
